Walking past the second hand book store...

Today I came across a second hand book store which I had never known to have so many books for kids.
I instantly stood in front of a huge box with printed block letters that read: "English books for kids". The salesman saw me struggling with the piles of dusty -and amazing- books, and brought out a nice little stool for me to sit on while I patiently picked what I liked. These are a few nice stories which I very happily took home....

First book I took home:

THE CRACK-OF-DAWN WALKERS
 by Amy Hest, illustrated by Amy Schwartz.(1984).

 It´s a beautiful story about a grandparent´s relationship with his granddaughter. The dialogues are very human and touching. It is a beautiful story to work on human relationships and family types. It is also about sharing moments and dealing with jealousy.
